Every Flooring Service Centennial Homes Actually Need

Some jobs are a single material in a single room. Most are not. A floor swap usually drags in demolition, a soft spot in the subfloor, new stair treads and forty feet of baseboard. We do all of it with one crew, so nobody points at anybody else.

Eight Reasons the Estimate Holds

Anyone can quote a floor low and make it up after demolition. What follows is how we avoid that, point by point, and it is the same list we hand a homeowner standing in their own living room.

Flooring installer fitting planks during a Centennial installation
  1. 1

Subfloor prep is inspected and priced before you sign

We pull a corner of the old floor at the measurement, not on install day. If the plywood under your Willow Creek hallway is soft, or the basement slab is out of plane by a quarter inch over ten feet, you see that number in the written estimate alongside everything else. The surprise change order is the defining complaint in this trade, and it is the one thing we refuse to do.

  2. 2

A written workmanship warranty on our labor

Manufacturers warrant the material. Almost nobody warrants the installation in writing, which is exactly the part a homeowner cannot judge by looking. Ours is on paper, handed over at the walkthrough, separate from and in addition to whatever the plank carries.

  3. 3

The same crew from demolition to the last piece of shoe molding

No handoff to a trim sub who shows up whenever. The people who tear out the old carpet are the people who set the transitions and caulk the baseboard, which is why the job actually finishes instead of sitting at ninety percent.

  4. 4

    Dust-controlled demolition and grinding

Thinset and old adhesive removal is the messiest hour in flooring. We run shrouded grinders on HEPA extraction and seal the work zone, so the dust ends up in a bag rather than on the tops of your kitchen cabinets and inside the furnace return.

  5. 5

Bring your own material and we will still install it right

A large share of Centennial homeowners buy their flooring before they call anyone. We will install customer-supplied material to the manufacturer's specification so the material warranty survives, and we will tell you honestly at the measurement if the order is short or the product is wrong for a below-grade room.

  6. 6

HOA and condo sound ratings handled

Plenty of buildings along the Dry Creek and Arapahoe corridors specify a minimum IIC or STC rating on underlayment and restrict install hours. We read the rules, spec the underlayment that satisfies them, and keep the documentation so the association signs off without a fight.

  7. 7

Furniture moved, old flooring hauled away, site swept every evening

You should not have to empty a four-bedroom house in Foxridge by yourself. We move the furniture, pull the old floor out to the truck, and leave the job broom-clean at the end of each day rather than at the end of the week.

  8. 8

Landlords and property managers get the turnover window they asked for

Between a move-out and a move-in there is no slack. We schedule turnover work in Aurora, Englewood and Littleton against the actual key date, quote durable material honestly, and hit the day we committed to.

How it works

Four Steps, No Guessing

  1. Step 1

    Free in-home measurement

We come to the house, laser the rooms, check the existing floor, and lift a corner to see the subfloor. You get real square footage instead of an estimate off a phone call, and we talk through which materials survive your dogs, your kids and your basement.

  2. Step 2

    A written, itemized estimate

Material, labor, demolition, haul-away, subfloor prep, underlayment, trim and stair work each appear as their own line. If you want to cut scope, you can see exactly where the money is, and the total does not move after you approve it unless you change what you asked for.

  3. Step 3

    Installation

Furniture out, old floor out, subfloor prepped and moisture tested, new floor racked and installed to the manufacturer's method. We seal the work area, keep one room livable wherever the layout allows, and tell you at the end of each day what happens the next morning.

  4. Step 4

    Trim, transitions and walkthrough

Baseboard or shoe molding goes back on, reducers and thresholds get set, and then we walk the whole floor with you under a work light looking for anything that bothers you. The written labor warranty is handed over at that walkthrough, not mailed later.

Serving Centennial and the South Metro

Centennial sits in the middle of the busiest stretch of Arapahoe County, and our work follows the same roads you drive. From the older brick ranches off University Boulevard to the newer builds out past E-470 toward Parker, we cover the south metro with one crew list and one price sheet. The number you are quoted in Southglenn is built the same way as the number quoted in Lone Tree.

We know what is under these floors

Housing stock here is not uniform. A 1970s Cherry Knolls split-level hides plank subfloor and a slab-on-grade lower level; a Piney Creek build from the late nineties is plywood over trusses with a finished basement. Knowing which is which before demolition means our estimates land close and our install days do not stall.

Crews staged across the south metro

Our installers start their days across the Arapahoe and Dry Creek corridors rather than from one yard downtown. That keeps arrival windows tight and predictable whether the job is in Greenwood Village or out toward Castle Pines, and it means a measurement rarely takes more than a couple of days to book.

One number covers the whole map

You do not need to work out which branch handles your side of County Line Road. One call and the same person schedules the measurement, prices the work, and answers when you have a question on install day.

What South Metro Homeowners Say

A sample of recent projects across Centennial and the surrounding cities.

We had three companies out and this was the only one that pulled up the old vinyl to look underneath before quoting. Turned out the subfloor by the dishwasher was soft, and it was on the estimate instead of being a phone call two weeks later. The LVP went down in three days and the number matched the paper exactly.

Engineered oak through the main level and up the stairs. What sold me was that the crew who tore out the carpet was the same crew that did the stair nosing and baseboard. Zero handoffs, zero waiting on a trim guy. Stairs look better than the floor, honestly.

Dane R.Littleton, COGoogle

Our HOA has an underlayment sound requirement and two contractors basically shrugged at it. These guys knew the rating, spec'd the right pad, and gave us the paperwork the board wanted. Install was clean and they sealed off the hallway so the dust stayed put.

Priya N.Greenwood Village, COYelp

I manage a handful of rentals and needed a unit turned between tenants with about nine days of room. They measured on a Monday, had plank in by that Thursday, and the trim was done Friday. Told me straight which product would hold up to renters instead of upselling me.

Curtis A.Aurora, COGoogle

We supplied our own tile, which two other places would not touch. They installed it to spec, kept the manufacturer warranty intact, and flagged that we were about forty square feet short before they started rather than halfway through. Grout lines are dead straight.

Flooring Questions We Get From Centennial Homeowners

The ten that come up at nearly every measurement.

A Local Flooring Contractor, Not a Lead Broker

Centennial Flooring Installation is a working flooring crew based in the south metro, not a call center selling your address to whoever bids fastest. The person who measures your rooms is the person who prices them, and the installers are ours. That is why we can promise the number and actually keep it.
